Rotational viscometer is an instrument used to measure fluid viscosity. It mainly measures the viscosity of various liquids by driving a stepper motor to rotate with high subdivision. Its working principle is to calculate the viscosity by measuring the resistance of the fluid during rotation. It is suitable for production and scientific research fields such as grease, paint, slurry, textile, food, medicine, adhesive, cosmetics, etc.
When using a rotational viscometer, first make sure the instrument is level and avoid creating bubbles when placing the rotor into the sample. The rotor must not touch the cup wall or bottom, and the sample must not exceed the specified scale. When measuring different samples, keep the rotor clean and dry to avoid affecting the accuracy of the measurement.
