Measurement steps:

(1) Install the Webster scale (as shown in Figure 1), hang the float hammer on the small hook, and if the two pointers are not aligned, rotate the adjustment screw until the two pointers are aligned. Inject water that has boiled for 30 minutes and cooled to 20 ℃ into the glass cylinder, immerse the float hammer in water, and place the glass cylinder in a constant temperature water bath at 20 ℃. Hang the unit weight on a small hook, and the balance should be maintained at this time.

(2) Pour out the water from the glass cylinder, wash the glass cylinder and float hammer with ethanol first, and then rinse several times with ether, and blow dry. Inject the sample pre adjusted to 20 ℃ and place it in a constant temperature water bath at 20 ℃. Adjust the game codes to be placed on the scale. If two game codes need to be placed on the same scale, hang the smaller game code on the foot hook of the larger game code. If the relative density of the sample is greater than 1, hang the unit weight on a small hook, wait for the balance to be maintained, and record the reading.
