GSM Sampler Textile Fabric Cutter

Purpose:A kind of circular sampler which is used to cut and get sample from various of wool, cotton, fiber, knitting and so on.

The fabric sampler is used to cut circular specimens of various geotextiles and geosynthetic composite materials. It uses an all aluminum alloy stamping blade and can also be used in conjunction with an electronic balance to test the unit area mass of geotextiles.

Usage of fabric sampling and weighing instrument:

Step 1: Lay the fabric to be cut flat on a rubber pad, place the disc sampler on the fabric, pull out the locking device on the sampler, and rotate it by about 90 degrees

Step 2: Hold the outer cover with one hand and the corrugated handwheel with the other, apply a certain amount of pressure, and then rotate the corrugated handwheel clockwise (with an angle greater than 90 degrees) to cut the circular sample.

Notes:

1. The blade edge of this instrument is sharp, and hands should not be placed at the bottom during use to avoid damage.
2. The instrument should be used to cut the sample on a rubber pad. When the instrument is not in use, it should be wiped clean and placed in the instrument box to avoid damage.
3. If the blade is not sharp after a period of use, replace it according to section 4.1. The blade is a regular double-sided shaving blade that is available on the market.
4. After taking the sample, weigh it on an electronic balance with an accuracy of 100%. After the CHQ weight balance is turned on and automatically zeroed (showing 0.00g), place the cut round sample on the circular pan of the weight balance. The weight on the weight balance immediately reads, and the displayed weight is directly multiplied by 100 to obtain the weight of 1 square meter of the sample (cutting area is 1% of 1 square meter). For example, if the weight of the sample read by the electronic balance is 3.57g, then, The weight of 1 square meter of this sample is 357g
