What Is the Precision of an Electronic Balance?

The precision of an electronic balance refers to the readability of the balance. Imagine you are going to measure a very tiny object. The mass of the object is about 250 milligrams or 0.25g. If you use an electronic balance with a readability of 0 decimal places or 1g, the balance will not be able to measure the mass of the object.

In this case, you will need an electronic balance with a readability of up to 2 decimal places or 0.01g. So, the latter electronic balance is said to have more precision than the earlier one.

This is a precision electronic balance with the lowest capacity among all balances. Its capacity is 0-100g with an accuracy of 0.001g. The repeatability score of this precision balance is less than or equal to 0.002g.

Model - WA2003N

Its capacity is double the capacity of the previous balance. It can measure masses from 0-200g. The accuracy of this balance is also 0.001g with a repeatability score of 0.002g.

Model – WA3003N

Among three precision balances having an accuracy of 0.001g, it has the highest capacity. You can use this balance to measure masses from 0-300g. The repeatability of this balance is the same as the previous ones.

Model – WA1002N

The accuracy of this model is a bit lower at 0.01g. It has a capacity of 0-100g. The repeatability of this balance is less than or equal to 0.02g.

Model – WA2002N

It has a capacity of 0-1000g and an accuracy of 0.1g.

The precision rating will be the same for the rest of the balances. Its capacity is 0-2000g.
